(PHOENIX) – Today, nearly 14-percent of America’s servicemembers are women yet services for women veterans are not sufficient to stem a rising number of homeless women veterans on our cities streets.

Virginia requests market response to proposed automated claims processing system

The Virginia Department of Veterans Services has posted a Request for Information (RFI) to obtain vendor ideas and information regarding the range of market options for improving and automating the disability compensation claims process. DVS expects responses to involve both process and technology improvements that improve claim accuracy, completeness, consistency and delivery such that the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs is able to adjudicate claims (and award benefits) more quickly.
